I joined Facebook because I needed to keep in touch with musical theater friends and fellow cast-mates, and that stuck. My activity waxes and wanes, but I still use that service.
I joined Twitter because someone else set up an account with my email address and I got a welcome email one day. I signed in to change the password to make sure no one else used my identity. I have a small number of Twitter followers, but I use that service far more sporadically than Facebook.
I signed up for Google+ because it looked like the next big thing. I’m pretty sure my account is gathering electronic dustbunnies under the virtual bed.
I started a blog in a fit of curiosity last year. I posted a dozen or so entries, and folks told me they liked what I had to say, but it’s been almost a year since I posted. At least I’ve been thinking about posting again.
So, what does that mean for this new toy? (Well, new for me?) Only time will tell…
